I have a lot of carpets in my house and was tired of spending money on an outside cleaner. This model is a nice update, they fixed my complaints about the old one while keeping the things I liked. I love the new spinning upholstery brush. Plus they give you a standard upholstery brush as back up, I’ll probably just use it on the old model to replace the broken one. And the system for holding the hose to the machine has been greatly improved. I also really like the clean surge feature my old one doesn’t have it and it makes a difference. Finally, the cord is longer than the one on the old one, on the old one, I had to attach an extention cord. So it cleans better than the old one and the old one did a decent job. I am very happy with my purchase and figure it will hold up well as the old one is still working fine except for the attachment to the hose. The hose itself is still ok and the rest still works fine. Nothing leaks and the five brushes still spin. I see that they are replaceable anyway should you wear them out. Anyway, great product, cleans great, Amazon has the best price on it, shipped quickly. With the kids, I have already had to use this several times… had an older model of this that I received as a gift 7 or 8 years ago. Since then we have had kids, and the old machine has taken a beating. It still works but the upholstery nozzle has broken (mine has the standard nozzle this one has but no second spinning nozzle like this one). Also the sprayer on the hose kept falling off. I determined to buy this second one for the house and keep the old one for the car.

I have been using more than a year now – connected between a laptop and HDTV. The resolution is much much greater than a S-video cable that I have using before. It didn’t cause any problem so far. A couple of times, I didn’t get the sound but it came back later. And, I am not sure whether the problem was in the computer or the cable. Anyway, it is really reliable and I am very satisfied by the product. Besides, when I transfer the signal from my laptop to the HDTV, I don’t have to reset the resolution of the display anymore – it automatically happens. Awesome!

This book is soooo misleading. It is not the voice of God nor does it come from the word of God. If someone truly seeks advice and more understanding, he/she should get a Student Bible or an “Understanding the Bible” type of book from a Christian store. This book makes me want to vomit; knowing how many people are reading and believing the LIES that are COMPLETELY THROUGHOUT this book!

This is my first review and I felt compelled to write because of the scale not living up to the “hype” it received from enthusiastic previous reviewers. I am a physician and am making it a point to be healthy. Of course, that means keeping track of my weight. Unfortunately, not only does the scale display different weights depending on the floor surface (despite them all being flat), it will not register weight changes greater than .2 lb increments that are on the smaller side. That is, it will not display a weights for “test” items with “known” weights, such as 1-lb boxes of pasta, (even multiple boxes), books, canned foods, etc. Yes, I make sure to tap it on. I’ve tried replacing the batteries, recalibrating on multiple occasions, and even leaving it alone for a few days just to see if it would magically start to work as advertised. And yes, I’ve tried it with me plus aforementioned items with no change in weight, or ridiculously large fluctuations that are nonsensical. I am pretty unhappy with this product. I am still in search of a reliable scale, but I don’t think I will be so trusting of the reviews on Amazon, especially considering this brand of scales seem to be getting inflated ratings.
Is Digital Western My Passport suck?
I was disappointed with this for two reasons. I didn’t so much mind the protection software on here. You just have to wait for it to cue up and then type in your password. It doesn’t take much longer than the regular autoplay cue up on your computer takes. But some people have found this very, very annoying. It didn’t cause me too much grief. What did cause me grief is that, after loading this with lots of material within a few months, the connection became very tricky. Sometimes it disconnects right in the middle of looking at something, and then I have to go back through the whole cue-ing up process again, the whole typing in the password again. I have to position this in various precarious positions now to keep it connected while I’m working on something, and if I bump it or move the laptop a little bit, it disconnects. This I find horribly frustrating.

I purchased this scale after reading the reviews and comparing against the other scale’s reviews. I had an older Weight Watcher’s scale that was inconsistent, so it was very important to me to get a scale that was accurate. When I first tested the scale after I received it, I thought it must be off, since I weighed less that I thought I should. However, it was consistent, so I thought I could work with it. Then I went to a Weight Watchers meeting (weighing in at home right before the meeting) and lo and behold – it was exactly the same weight! So, I feel very comfortable trusting this scale to report accurate weights. I love the look of it as well, so I am completely satisfied with my purchase!
